We would like to invite anyone not already on our rotas to lend a hand. In particular, another Communion Steward would be a great help. Please see one of the stewards if you would be willing to participate. Additional volunteers are also wanted for the flower rota. Please speak to Marjorie if you are able to help.
This can be found in the vestibule for those you would like to be mentioned in our Prayers of Intercession. You may also wish to tie a prayer to the tree in the Prayer Garden. You will find cards and string in the vestibule, or speak to one of the Stewards.
The first of these is at 12 noon on the 28th September and we’ll be serving a choice of soup with a roll, pudd plus tea or coffee. Why not come with a friend? Min donation £4. Please contact Penny if you’d like to help on the day or by making a batch of soup or pudding. 01937 573434
Recently we had to throw away almost four packets of biscuits as they had become soft after being stored in tins for a while. Please would people on coffee duty take unused biscuits home with them to prevent further wastage.
Mark will be running an Alpha course for the circuit at Tadcaster Methodist church starting 7pm on Wednesday September 13th (excluding 1/2 term) running for approx. 8 weeks. Please let Mark know if you’re interested in attending.
